Rich provided us with a fair and honest assessment of our heating and AC needs with options to consider. His pricing was fair and reasonable. He replaced our main unit and added a smaller wall unit for upstairs master bedroom in a day. Everything was cleaned up and he provided instructions for what we needed to do. I’m absolutely delighted by the level of communication, efficiency in scheduling, professionalism of the installers, and pricing provided by Standard Air. The only surprises we’ve experienced have all been positive - after the initial meeting with Rich, I was pleased that Standard could replace our crappy, old, locked-up energy hog within a week for a fair price. Even better was receiving a subsequent email letting me know that the installers could be here sooner at a time that was even more convenient for me. The guys arrived a little earlier than expected, which meant they actually working at the anticipated start time, which is really refreshing. Their polite friendliness and focus on the job was impressive - we have a really tight turn to get in and out of the basement (it’s like entering a staircase from the left wall of a Port-a-John sized closet) and it can’t have been easy to maneuver our old unit out and the new one in, but they didn’t seem daunted at all. The post-installation tour was delivered with the perfect level of detail and tone: I neither felt spoken down to or overwhelmed. That’s saying a great deal, and I’m impressed with everything from start to finish. No wonder Standard is so well reviewed around this area!
I woke up to no air conditioning when the heat index was 106. Called Standard Air and he came over within 30 minutes even though it was his day off. The AC was fixed promptly and his prices were competitive. I’m very happy with his service and will always recommend him to neighbors!
Rich was great! He responded promptly to my service request and placed me on his schedule the following day for a non-emergency maintenance visit. He was knowledgable, professional, highly ethical and timely. I would definitely recommend!
Rich is great! He has always come over within hours of calling him and leaves with the issue I was having fixed or properly diagnosed. For being a small business with a very personal touch, his prices were very competitive with national companies but his service is way above. I recommend Rich for all your HVAC and plumbing needs.
